Shannon Christiansen

This is my first year teaching at Ivy Hall Academy, and I am so excited to be here!  I absolutely love learning and being able to watch your children learn and grow is really a dream come true
for me.

I have an entrepreneurial background teaching children’s technology and STEAM classes and more recently I have been working with teens at a residential treatment center as I completed my studies in Family Science. While I have worked with both of our businesses over the years, the flexibility of being part owner has allowed me to stay at home and care for my family for the better part of that time, which I have loved. Now that our children are older, I am super excited to pursue some of my other dreams.

My husband and I have three children.  Reese is a junior at BYU, Eli is a senior at Timpview High, and Jake is an 8th grader at Centennial this year.  We all LOVE to travel, cook/bake, build things, and read (we are BIG readers).

I am a native Texan but have lived in Provo for the last three years.  We have really enjoyed all that Provo has to offer for our family and plan to stay long term! I look forward to meeting the whole Ivy Hall family and working with your children next fall!
