SPANISH
I am thrilled to begin my first year teaching Spanish at Ivy Hall! I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and was rated at the advanced level bythe American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. I taught Spanish 102 at BYU and loved every minute of sharing this beautiful language. Through a two-month studying abroad in Spain and 18 months living in California among Spanish-speakers, I learned so much about how languages shape our lives and our ability to have a positive impact on our communities. I am passionate about cultures, building communication and connection across society, and empowering students to reach their great potential. I am so excited to meet all my new students and learn and grow together!
I am from Missouri and I have lived in Provo for 5 years. My favorite activity is hiking in Utah’s beautiful mountains! I also love reading, traveling, pickleball, and playing with my nephews.
