Maile Ashby

This is my second year teaching at Ivy Hall Academy. After my son started school in 2020, I fell in love with the Ivy Hall community and family. I feel fortunate to join such an amazing team.  As the daughter of a former teacher I developed a passion for education and teaching early on. I started working as a teacher’s aid right out of high school and went on to receive degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I taught for 11 years as a Special Education Preschool teacher before I took a break to have my two wonderful children. I am excited to be back teaching and look forward to a wonderful year!
