Director: Mrs. Susan Kirby will direct the school for the 17th year. She teaches English in Junior High and oversees the curriculum for each grade. This ensures each grade building upon the others and avoiding "holes" in the student's education.

Mrs. Kirby graduated from Teachers' College in Toronto, Canada in 1967. She first taught for the Toronto School Board, where she was designated a Master Teacher after her first year. She later taught for the Mississauga School Board. She took a break from teaching professionally while her children were young and returned to substitute in the greater Toronto area. When her children were all in school, she taught for 5 years at Challenger School in Orem. She has been at Ivy Hall since 1991, and the Director since 1992.

Mrs. Kirby has four children and ten grandchildren.

Office Manager: Mrs. VerDaun Bingham is taking over office manager duties this year. She was the office manager at the old building many years ago, and it's good to have her back.
Pre-K: Mrs. Andrea Quinn will be teaching our preschool. She was born and raised in Vernal, Utah. She is the youngest of seven children. She met her husband in their BYU ward and they were married in November, 2006.

Her hobbies include camping, fishing, hiking, reading a good book, movies, cooking, and music. Her mother owned a preschool while she was growing up, and that's where she discovered her love for teaching preschool age children. She was able to work there for seven years. After she graduated from high school, she had the opportunity to go to Zhuhai, China, and teach English to elementary age children for four months.

This is her third year at Ivy Hall. She's very excited to be teaching pre-kindergarten this year!
